Ever since the gods of Ancient Egypt were unleashed in the modern world, Carter Kane and his sister Sadie have been in trouble. As descendants of the House of Life , the Kanes have some powers at their command, but the devious gods haven't given them much time to master their skills at Brooklyn House , which has become a training ground for young magicians. And now their most threatening enemy yet - the chaos snake Apophis - is rising.
The Throne of Fire. Carter and Sadie have been training their trainees and then Sadie's birthday comes. Sadie and Carter travel to Russia to get one of the scrolls to wake up Ra. While they are in the museum they run in to Set.. Sadie and Carter find the 3 scrolls of Ra, and have to enter the underworld, to awaken Ra, the sun god. Once they enter the underworld they have to go in to the different houses of the underworld and the different houses represent the stages of sleep. Sadie and Carter Kane wake up Ra, but they only have a part of him, and they have to find the last parts of him to fully reawaken him.
