Can We Expect a Ready Player One Book and Movie Sequel?
The Ready Player One movie did really well for a movie that was not meant to become a movie. As weird as that sounds. Originally Ernest Cline, the author of the book, did not want the book to become a movie. He wrote Read y Player One after spending years in the movie industry and wanted to write something that simply could not be turned into a movie. On the down side, his writing was so good that Hollywood decided to turn Ready Player One into a movie. Twist of fate.

That's one of the reasons that I'm drawn to write more stories in this world," he added to Den of Geek. I haven't heard anything.
