The Clear Skin Cookbook by Dale PinnockAs a student who very often tends to neglects her own needs (PROPER FOOD), I think this book is wonderful. Most of the information on skin etc I just skimmed through bc Im aware of it all. But what I took down as notes were all the foods I should be eating more of. Some of the recipes are time consuming and not ideal for someone whos busy BUT the juices/smoothies are easy and fast. Im prone to anemia, bc I dont eat meat & dairy. Eggs (sporadically) but I make sure to up for it with supplements and fish fish fish. But Im still missing out on nuts, so def going on a shopping splurge today and buying all the nuts I see.

Wow, this sounds fascinating! Tempted to just order because it's so affordable and I'd love clear skin. It's a great read. I'm desperate for clear skin :- one day!!! This is a great idea, I think sometimes I forget it's not just about applying products to the outside it's starting from the inside!

The author Dale Pinnock is a renowned nutritionist, medical herbalist, chef and health expert in UK. He reveals how different compounds in our food can maintain and improve skin. This book also further details how common skin conditions can be improved by recommending top foods, foods to avoid and other remedies. Finally it lists simple recipes for breakfast, soups, main dishes, desserts and drinks, all using less than 10 ingredients! We can cook and eat as much fresh food but if we cook it wrongly, all the good vitamins sadly will be destroyed. So in order not to waste our effort, this book reminds us to use the correct cooking method to preserve the vitamins.
