Imagine a huge amusement park with 38 rollercoasters! Now imagine how much work it would take to build, and be glad that builder Daan B made it for you! So I started to make a large theme park. In fact, the park is so large that it took Daan two and a half years of hard work plus a little extra help from his brother and cousin. Of course, most people visit theme parks to get that great adrenaline rush from fast-paced, stomach-dropping rides. For its design I was inspired by the real life rollercoaster.

I had a blast attending and presenting at Minefaire, a massive Minecraft inspired fan experience. You can read more about what there is to see and do at Minefaire here. So what does this have to do with coasters and theme parks? This post is basically going to be a written, condensed version of the Minecraft roller coaster presentation I was invited to take part in. These are built on the Xbox version of the game , meaning each block is placed one by one — no automatic building tools are used.

This should not use power rail. Make the roller coaster go up and down by using power rail. I made mine in pocket edition so I didn't need redstone to power the power rail. You will need to use redstone in full edition.
Since my last tutorial went over smaller builds such as bridges for a garden and Japanese gates, I figured I'd make another tutorial on something larger. So today I made a wooden roller coaster:. The station can be made in many different building styles and is completely up to you on how you want it to look. First, start out with the platform as well as the starting track. Next, make some stairs leading up to the platform, the queue line, and add some fencing along the platform. To make the track, begin with an incline powered by redstone.
