Hamid Khan (Author of Constitutional And Political History Of Pakistan)Hamid Khan (Urdu: حامد خان b. 16 April 1945) is a Pakistani writer, politician, supreme court lawyer who is currently serving as the Senior Vice-President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
Hamid Khan wrote several books that are recommended reading for Pakistani students of law. Hamid Khan studied law at the University of Punjab and University of Illinois and has been practising for over thirty years.
He has authored five books on legal subjects, three of which-Islamic Law of Inheritance, Principles of Administrative Law and Administrative Tribunals for civil Servants in Pakistan-are prescribed as Textbooks at law schools. He is an Ebert and DAAD Fellow, as well as a member of The Hague Academy of International Law. His book Constitutional and Political History of Pakistan is taught at the LLB level, and is a comprehensive reference on the making of Pakistan. His work is also taught at the LLM level.

The history of Pakistan encompasses the history of the region constituting modern-day Pakistan , which is intertwined with the history of the broader Indian Subcontinent and the surrounding regions of South Asia , East Asia , Central Asia and Middle East. The domestication of wheat and barley rapidly followed by that of goats, sheep, and cattle, has been documented at Mehrgarh , Balochistan. The history of Pakistan for the period preceding the country's creation in  is shared with those of Afghanistan , India , and Iran. Spanning the western expanse of the Indian subcontinent and the eastern borderlands of the Iranian plateau , the region of present-day Pakistan served both as the fertile ground of a major civilization and as the gateway of South Asia to Central Asia and the Near East. Situated on the first coastal migration route of Homo sapiens out of Africa, the region was inhabited early by modern humans.

His revivalist, reformative and reconstructive efforts bear historic significance and hold an unparalleled position in promoting the cause of world peace and human rights, propagating the true Islamic faith and teachings of the Quran and Sunna.
The leadership of the movement was mostly educated at Aligarh Muslim University. From the Aligarh Movement , the Indian Muslim community developed a secular political identity. Urdu poets such as Iqbal and Faiz used literature, poetry and speech as a powerful tool for political awareness. The driving force behind the Pakistan Movement was the Muslim community of the Muslim minority provinces, United Provinces and Bombay Presidency , rather than that of the Muslim majority provinces. During this time, Lord Macaulay 's radical and influential educational reforms led to the numerous changes to the introduction and teaching of Western languages e. English and Latin , history , and philosophy. In a short span of time, the English language had become not only the medium of instruction but also the official language in in place of Persian, disadvantaging those who had built their careers around the latter language.
