Ron in Love - Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
Exploring Lavender Brown’s unexpected effect on Hermione
I do not think there is any other woman for Ron Weasley and there certainly is not any other man for Hermione Granger. It has always been obvious to me that they want and love each other. However, I think the most important thing to happen to their relationship and a major reason why they got so close by the beginning of Deathly Hallows is Lavender Brown. She was a catalyst for Hermione to admit her feelings. Similarly, Lavender also made Ron figure out what he wanted in a woman. He has always wanted Hermione but he never knew what she thought of him; in his eyes, Hermione wanted a bloke more like Harry. Therefore, when he noticed that Lavender was interested, he took her as a comfort.
Lavender Brown c. She started her education at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in , the same year as the famous Harry Potter. While at Hogwarts Lavender began studying Divination , which she was fascinated by. In her fifth year she joined Dumbledore's Army. This was an organisation taught and led by Harry Potter, despite initially doubting Harry's claims that Lord Voldemort had returned. The following year she started an exhibitionist relationship with Ron Weasley , though they soon broke up.
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Hermione Granger was as cool as a cucumber. She was a witch who prided herself on being logical. Lavender just did something to Hermione. Add to that the fact that the Gryffindor girls had to share a room for, like, seven years. Lavender was a big fan of Divination, which Hermione thought was a load of old codswollop. Harry spun round to see Hermione pointing her wand at Ron, her expression wild: the little flock of birds was speeding like a hail of fat golden bullets towards Ron, who yelped and covered his face with his hands, but the birds attacked, pecking and clawing at every bit of flesh they could reach.
You should hope a dark wizard bent on enslaving both wizards and muggles influences society in a way that you end up becoming close friends with your crush, and then proceed to spend seven years in their company culminating in a Battle at Hogwarts. The Harry Potter series prided itself upon featuring love interests who were indefinitely trapped here. They were both attracted to one another for a number of years before finally admitting their feelings to one another. A lot of ridiculous things happened between these two which would take you by surprise at how they could have ended up as husband and wife. But the greatest love stories always have definite conflict, no matter how stupid they seem to be.
On their way back from Quidditch practice, Harry and Ron run into Ginny and Dean Thomas kissing in the entranceway to the common room. Something about the scene makes Harry feel sick. Ron starts screaming at Ginny, and she erupts, accusing Ron of never having kissed a girl. Ron is embarrassed and outraged. Ron is still angry the next day and ignores Hermione.
