For We Wrestle Not Against Flesh & Blood (Ephesians 6:12)
Ephesians 6:12 NIV
What does the Bible say about? For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,. He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.

I seem to keep running into people I do not like. They really annoy me, almost to the point that I dread being in their presence. Either in the way they choose to live their life, how they choose to run their organization, or what beliefs guide their social relationships. If that is true, then I actually fight against spiritual forces. Truthfully, nothing. Our guilt settles in. We were taken over for a second by evil and succumbed to temptation.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against.

There are too many people living in fear and doubt, when Jesus died for that on the cross thousands of years ago. God knew that there would be an enemy who is seeking to steal, kill, and destroy us, but God also gave us just what we needed — something to help us withstand the attack. A lot of it can be found in Ephesians When Paul writes this chapter, he is basically talking to Christians about the Christian life. He shares with them that it comes with spiritual struggles, and it is not abnormal for them to face problems, suffering, and persecution. I truly believe that it is actually common for you to face spiritual attack because the devil will do whatever he can to stop, distract, or discourage you from your purpose.
